The Virtual Knowledge Centre (VKC) was launched on 2014 with the objective to provide a centralised platform for marine and maritime information and to improve synergies across different initiatives and projects in the Mediterranean region. Currently managed by the Union for Mediterranean (UfM) Secretariat, it serves as an on-line tool for networking and information sharing among blue economy stakeholders with the ultimate aim to consolidate links, promote dialogue and opportunities for operational collaboration among stakeholders.
